I love Margaritas. I love Corona. So two great tastes must taste great together right? Well Budweiser tried to do it with their Bud Light Lime Margarita but it’s just way to sweet and limey. But if you make the Corona Margarita yourself with fresh and quality ingredients it’s a definite winner! Not to be confused with Killer Corona, this super refreshing drink is awesome on a hot summer day and doesn’t have an overpowering tequila taste.
Corona Margarita Ingredients
- 1 can or approx 12 oz. can of frozen limeade (we used Bacardi, which come in the 1/2 size can)
- 6 oz tequila (any silver will do, we used 1800)
- 6 oz water
- 6 oz Corona (or any Mexican beer or even Landshark)
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- ice
Mixing Instructions
Add limeade, tequila, water and Corona into a pitcher. Mix the ingredients until the limeade has melted. Add lots of ice, and garnish with lime wedges. Add more water, if needed. Makes 3 or 4 servings!
If you make it, we’d love to hear about it – send us some pics if you’ve got ’em!
Stay thirsty my friends,
Johnny!
